The Veil of Forgetfulness, 2007

These images, a collage of drawings and photographs, were projected during the first live performance of Susan Stoderl’s opera, The Veil of Forgetfulness in 2007, at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Manhattan. The video is an excerpt from the original art installation projected during that performance. The images are designed to mirror the inner emotional life of each character as the opera unfolds.
